Maud drives Satoshi Connect’s mission to make Bitcoin usable as sound, lawful money in the traditional economy. She has eight years of experience in the blockchain space, including as COO of Alephium, where she oversaw operations, strategy, and ecosystem growth. Previously, she worked at Lykke, one of Switzerland’s early crypto exchanges and tech startups. Maud combines strategic leadership and operational precision with a focus on user empowerment and regulatory clarity.

Roosembert Palacios

Roosembert builds and oversees Satoshi Connect’s non-custodial, high-performance infrastructure. He is a long-time supporter of free and open-source software and contributes to projects such as Nixpkgs. He specialises in Haskell, Nix, Rust, functional programming, blockchain integration and embedded systems. With seven years of experience in blockchain integration, his work focuses on reliability, transparency and user sovereignty, the foundations required for real-world Bitcoin use.

Darko Gasic

Darko brings over seven years of experience in the Bitcoin ecosystem, supported by master’s degrees in Finance and Digital Currencies. He leads customer relations and business onboarding at Satoshi Connect with a focus on trust, accessibility, and privacy. Before joining Satoshi Connect, he worked at Bity SA as financial analyst and key account manager, and later co-founded Hodling SA, which offers non-custodial solutions for secure Bitcoin storage. Darko helps bridge the Bitcoin economy with the traditional financial system, ensuring clients can operate lawfully while maintaining self-custody.

Alexis Roussel

Alexis defines and leads Satoshi Connect’s compliance philosophy at the intersection of Bitcoin and regulation. He co-founded Bity SA, serves as COO of Nym Technologies, and is a recognised cryptocurrency expert at ARIF (SRO). Holding a master’s in Technology Public Law, he has also served as an e-governance specialist at the UN and as president of the Pirate Party of Switzerland. At Satoshi Connect, Alexis builds compliance frameworks grounded in a deep understanding of blockchain technology, ensuring that our services follow Swiss and international compliance best practices while protecting privacy and upholding digital integrity.
